WOMENS’ BIBLE STUDIES

Ladies of all ages attend the Women’s Bible Study. The group meets each week on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. September through May. Topics are varied, ranging from specific Bible book studies, to a broader study of the life of David.  A time of sharing and prayer follows the lesson.

WOMENS’ COFFEE AND TEA SOCIALS

These events are held periodically and most often last two-three hours.  They provide a wonderful opportunity for ladies of all ages to get to know and love one another without having to make a large time commitment such as that required for overnight retreats. A recent social was billed as “Mug ‘n Muffin” where each person was given the opportunity to choose a coffee mug of their own to take home.     

 

MENS’ PRAYER BREAKFASTS

Men’s prayer breakfasts are held on the third Saturday of each month beginning at 8:00 a.m. Two or three men consistently provide a tasty, substantial breakfast. The meal is followed by a time of sharing, encouragement and prayer.  The time commitment is less than an hour and a half. Once or twice a year the breakfast is followed by a work “day” which lasts four hours or less.

 

ANNUAL MENS’ RETREAT

Near the end of September, we have a one day men's retreat when we have a wonderful time of fellowship, singing, terrific food and inspirational speakers.

SMALL GROUPS

There are several opportunities to join small groups that meet regularly to encourage spiritual growth and establish lasting Christian friendships.

Other Regular Events

Regular church wide events include banquets, potlucks and a Father’s Day breakfast that the entire church body enjoys.
